Saturday Food

So today... I'm going to attempt to make Panetonne.
I can't wait.
I love that fruit studded bread. Especially as french toast.
I want to perfect it now, so by Christmas, when it is typically given,
I can have it down to a science.
***
Dinner last night was Chinese, and my ankles are paying the price this morning.
Too much salt!
Yikes!
***
Dinner tonight will be Roasted Veggies on the Grill,
and Brown Rice patties made to be 'burgers'.
I'll be making them myself... and no I don't have a recipe yet, because I haven't made it up yet.
I'll let you know how they turn out.
Trying to limit meat.
***
It's hot outside...
Make some Sangria or Lemonade and enjoy the day!
Freeze some of your favorite beverage as ice cubes so your drink doesn't get diluted!
I love adding Iced tea cubes to my Lemonade, or frozen Grenadine cupes to
Sprite for a fizzy Shirley Temple!

I made a great loaf tonite! The flax meal was a great idea. Thanks. Didn't change the taste at all. I am getting beautiful holes and giddy about this. Guess that makes me a nerd too. And yes, you should start the bread blog....that way I can refer all the people on my side who are asking me all of these question about this bread to you...the expert! I cant believe the buzz that bread creates. Funny!!

You've got another bread buddy, my mom!! My folks came over the other night for fresh hot bread and my mom was so excited and could not believe how simple it was to make. She ordered a book for herself(B&N was all out, I guess I bought the last one the day before) Oh, she and I would both like a baking stone. Let me know the details. Thanks:)
